Been to the Somerset three times now in the past year and a half and it’s almost as much to look forward to as the beautiful resorts. Great staff, great room, excellent and plentiful breakfast. Nothing bad to say. On my last stay, Mr. Fathih was particularly kind to me, coordinating many transfers, activities, and requests. While the rest of the staff is also professional and personable, Mr. Fathih took us under his care from arrival at the airport until departure. So pleased.

Very near to national museum, ferry jetty, sultan park . The food is surprisingly excellent and the room is big. The manager Ganesh leading the excellent team being very helpful to us. I would like to introduce to all tripadvisor members to check in here is u come to Malè.

Me and my wife had a great stay recently. Deluxe Suite room is cozy with a separate living area and luxury amenities. The staff is very much supportive and friendly. Food is also in a very good standard.

I was a bit set back when i got the drop to the hotel from the airport, narrow road congested traffic but right from my check in to my check out it has been one of the best experiences i have had in a moderate hotel,
I was upgraded without even been requested for, room was exceptionally clean
Just by asking my flight details the extended check out was given to me with a personalized letter in my room, all could i say was WOW
The breakfast options can be worked upon but still i cant conplain on the quality of food we had
Overall highly satisfied and will make sure to stay back here only
Not to forget the excellent customer services right from the reception to the room services

To our surprise we were greeted by the ever energetic GM itself, Ganesh Kumara. He and his staff went out of their way to make our short stay in Male as comfortable as possible. We were given a spacious room and it was very neat and clean.
We wish Ganesh and all his colleagues best of everything life can offer.

I stayed at the Somerset Hotel on three separate occasions in a two week period whilst on a work trip and our choice of the hotel helped to make the trip as smooth as possible.
I had booked the initial stay before arriving in the country, but the subsequent two visits were booked as we were traveling. It was easy to email and organize a reservation, with the hotel being really accommodating with last-minute changes to my schedule.
The transfers to and from the hotel were really well-managed, even when one of our internal flights was delayed and we had no way of communicating with those waiting for us. The longest we had to wait for the transfer car was about 15-20 minutes, and we were given complimentary bottled water whilst we waited.
All staff that we met, including the transfer staff, those on the front desk, and those in the restaurant were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout each stay.
The rooms I stayed in were all clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The king-sized bed was very comfortable and made for a good night’s sleep. There was a separate living room area with a sofa, mini-bar, and dining table. The two complimentary bottles of water each day were really handy and the person I was traveling with was really happy to discover the coffee machine in the room.
Breakfast was included in our stay and, even for a vegetarian, had plenty of choice in both the buffet selection and from the hot menu.
I’d recommend this for anyone looking for a place to stay in Male.
